Hence, enhancing teacher quality becomes of utmost importance for long term and sustainable nation building. Saint Dominic Savio College spearheaded by the school president Dr. Nestor V Dela Cruz with due respect as one of the well known institutions provide quality education for every needs of students. Its department the Graduate School and Institute for Professional Development inspires large number of MAED and PHD ( Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Philosophy) students majoring specific areas of specialization , meeting their target of continuing professional education. Students aim to create their own best ways to qualify themselves in the 21st Century requirements in order to facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity so that all students achieve in the global society. Answering this issue in support also to RA 10533 also known as Enhanced Basic Education, the institution makes the teachers prepare themselves for the actual experience they could encounter not only inside the classroom but surely from the outside community where learning expectations are observable. Since the Department of Education recognizes the importance of professional standards in the continuing professional development and advancement of teachers based on the principle of lifelong learning, most of the students were enrolled to the SDSC Graduate School and Institute for Professional Development. As every student believes this is the best home where teachers could guarantee themselves to grow professionally and enhance among skills positively making use what they learned to identify themselves as 21st Century educators who could improve more of their wisdom and ethical values. The changes brought about by various national and global frameworks such as the K to 12 Reform, ASEAN Integration, globalization, and the changing character of the 21st century learners necessitate the improvements makes an eye opener among teachers motivate themselves for more improvement of themselves and the likes. For now the students population in the graduate schol is estimated to 700 and still increasing supervise by each area coordinators Dr. Dennes Lagrimas in Real Quezon, Pelagia Arriola in Mindoro Oriental, Ibaan and Cuenca Batangas, Irma S Bagarino in Tanay-Antipolo Rizal, Dr Letcia Atienza and Dr Consol in Occidental Mindoro.
